General Questions

Is this a genuine, real, brand new iPhone?

Absolutely. Unlike the many Meizu brand imitations you will see elsewhere, this is the real deal: an Apple iPhone sold by AT&T. Each iPhone is purchased brand new from the retail outlet. We must open the box to unlock the phone on your behalf, then make a single test call but we will take extra good care of your iPhone! We promise.

Will the iPhone work in my country with my phone provider?

Chances are: yes. If your phone uses GSM technology meaning that it uses SIM cards then you should be good to go. This is the worldwide standard however certain networks are not compatible. CDMA and FOMA users will likely not be able to use the iPhone on their network. These networks are mostly used in the USA and Japan. Almost all of Europe uses GSM. Here's the down and dirty tech info: GSM Quad band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), GPRS/EDGE and can connect to other devices via: Computer via 30-pin iPod dock connector, Wi-Fi (802.11g) and Bluetooth 2.0.

Will the iPhone function properly after being unlocked?

Yes. Visual Voice mail (exclusive to AT&T) is the only known exception, all features currently available on locked phones will be available on unlocked phones. You may need to call you provider once you get your unlocked iPhone to enter in the internet settings of your particular network before you can browse the internet.

Do I have to buy the iPhone from you?

No. The iPhone is sold at AT&T Stores in the United States. If you do not however live in the United States our service is perfect for you. We pick up the iPhone for you, install the required software un your behalf, test the phone outside the USA then ship it straight to you. Utilizing our expertise is likely a lot cheaper and less stressful than flying across the globe and then trying to figure out how to unlock your iPhone.

When will the iPhone be available to purchase within my own country?

Depending on your country... most are scheduled for a late 2007 launch or sometime in 2008. Keep in mind however the phones sold locally from the official provider this year or next year likely be locked to the exclusive partner in your country.

Is there anything I need to know before ordering?

Yes, we're glad you asked. Firstly, the iPhone battery when it needs replacement years down the line... will need to be done by a professional. As the launch continues around the globe it is extremely likely that there will be a local service within your country to perform this task. It will however, not be free. Secondly, the iPhone we send you will work with iPhone software 1.0.2. While any future upgrade that you choose to download for the phone may not hinder the phone at all, we cannot guarantee that future downloads will not re-lock your iPhone. Therefor we encourage all users to stay on the 1.0.2 version of iPhone software and upgrade at their own risk.

So I will be able to make phone calls and use the data features?

Yes, as long as your provider is using standard GSM. The Visual Voicemail feature from AT&T will not be available on any other network but the normal (dial in) voicemail should work absolutely fine. Also, you may need to edit the phone settings to reflect the specific settings recommended by your provider for data usage/web browsing. They can assist you with this.


Shipping Questions

Where will and won't you ship to?

We can ship to (almost) everywhere! If you have access to UPS, USPS or FedEx where you are we will ship to you! The only two exceptions are: 1) We do not accept orders from within the United States. 2) Certain orders may require guaranteed funds before we can ship to you ("high risk" transactions only.)

How long will it take to get my iPhone?

This will largely depend on processing your payment and where we are shipping to. It is possible to receive your iPhone within three (3) days of your order, although it can take significantly longer as well. If you do not receive your iPhone within 10 business days please contact us. Keep in mind that incoming mail may be held up at your country's border for custom's processing.

Can I get my iPhone sooner 3-10 business days?

We can certainly do our best to accommodate special requests. Please note that in any emergency case where an iPhone is required immediately the costs involved will be quite a bit higher. If you are not concerned with paying a higher price to get it right away please contact us.

Will I incur any customs charges or brokerage fees?

Not from us. Unfortunately incoming products seem to be dealt with on a case-by-case basis so it is difficult to offer a one-size-fits-all answer. Many shipments pass through borders without any charges. Other times your country may levy taxes, duties and then brokerage on top. This largely depends on each individual shipment and we do our best to limit the fees by carefully choosing our shipping partners. Any duty, tax, customs or brokerage fee is your responsibility.
